819 precincts in out of 3500+, Saakashvili at 48.55%. There is still a long way to go in this count.

Why don't the percentage points add up to 100%? It looks to be 6% short of 100. Was there a write-in option?

That's due to voters casting a ballot but not choosing anyone, I believe.

And now, with 1208 counted and posted, we see 50.23% for Misha, and 25.27% for Levan.

Depending on which districts are reporting in, and until we get a larger fraction overall reporting - we're sure to see a "hunting effect" where the numbers overshoot and undershoot their true location.

I'd say without more aids to do projections with (a map and spreadsheet with pre-election polling numbers, to determine where each district might go, for example) nothing will be certain until the reporting in precincts number over 75% or so.

I'll check back in a a few hours or so to see if there is a substantive change in how it's going.

Thanks for the coverage.
