Saakashvili at 53% as counting continues
As expected, Saakashvili's margin of victory continues to shrink as more counts come in.
Most of the districts we're waiting on are expected to continue the trend, generally supporting Saakashvili with between 40-50%. However, only a bit more than a tenth of precinct results are in, and predicting district preferences is more guesswork than science given the current data.

The rhetoric of the 9 Coalition, and others, paints a sad picture of the state of minority politics in Georgia. To threaten, declare, rile and roar prior to actual results describes a lack of practice, a failure to understand democracy beyond a freedom of speech, and a violent subcurrent that is an illness, not a strength.
This should be a day of celebrating their supporters, congratulating them, and beginning a campaign to take control of Parliament at the elections in the spring. If final CEC results indicate a second round, great. If not, move on in a democratically political fashion.
I know - easy for a non-voting expat to say.
